Altered Image Coachworks was started in the 1980s by Peter Vickers and has been repairing and repainting vehicles ever since. Today, a skilled, knowledgeable team of body repair and paint specialists runs the business, with years of experience across every part of the job.

Owner Duncan Edwards started at Altered Image aged 16, working alongside Peter, before taking a full apprenticeship with the Rover Group. Learning his trade at a manufacturer taught him every part of body repair and repainting. He came back in 1999, buying 50% of the company and working with his first boss again. When Peter retired in 2013, Duncan bought the remaining shares.

The standards Duncan learnt from Peter and at Rover are now shared by the whole team. Everyone in the workshop works to the same standard, so whoever looks after your vehicle, you can expect the same care, attention to detail, and quality of finish. Between us, we handle full accident repairs, dents, scratches and all other bodywork on a wide range of vehicles.
